Photographic coverage of the installation of Geoff McFetridge's Sea Rambler. The Sea Rambler is an art sculpture commissioned by Patagonia, designed by Geoff McFetridge and installed onsite in Patagonia's Cardiff retail store.

For these large format 4x5 film portraits, we used a view camera and 4x5 sheet film to expose the portraits, then hand developed the negatives and hand printed them in the dark room. The images were printed on heavyweight matte paper.

These hand lettered posters were created beginning with initial pencil sketches. Once the sketches were finalized, we inked them in and photographed the individual words. The photographs were then imported into Adobe Photoshop, in order to clean up the linework, and finally turned into vector art in Adobe Illustrator. The resulting pieces are black and white prints on ultra thick paper, framed in reclaimed wood frames and hung as a window display at the Patagonia Cardiff store in Cardiff-By-The-Sea California. A big thanks to Michele Rozo for art direction and concept development, and Roy Coffman and Patagonia for making this project possible.

Poster designs from two different perspectives for Patagonia's collaboration with The Creative Action Network and the Vote The Environment campaign. Event photography documenting the Grain Surfboards Shaping School taking place over 3 days and teaching students how to hand shape wood surfboards.

Sean Carter of Carter Surfboards approached us about branding his new line of hand shaped, hand crafted surfboards. The helm concept stemmed from the idea that a well crafted board allows the surfer to have complete control over wave riding. We used pen and ink to draw the design by hand, and then scanned the image into Illustrator to finish it off as a vector graphic.

The logo is to be used for all collateral as well as printed laminates glassed into the boards.

Bixby and Ball is a regular client of ours who we have been working with for over 3 years. We have worked on many projects for them including web design and print design, but the most common need they have is for original designs for email marketing campaigns. We consistently design eblast graphics monthly to keep their marketing fresh and fun. This is a small sample of the designs we have custom made for them and represents both traditional hand-drawn watercolor methods, contemporary vector art and our distinctive style of typography.

Collaborative effort to provide funds for tsunami relief in Japan. We teamed up with Japanese surf publication "BLUE" and Shelter Surf Shop in Long Beach Ca. to aid and assist the citizens and country of Japan, in their time of tragedy and hardship, due to the earthquake that took place on March, 11.

They recently came to us with the need for a complete revamp of their entire e-commerce website and blog, envisioning a cleaner and more sophisticated look that would feel both contemporary and classic. Once we had finished designing the site, it was developed by Clave Media Co. of Solana Beach.
